Buck Size Rule
We target mature bucks only. Any Buck taken must be a mature buck. The resolution committee will be the final word on any questionable bucks taken. 15” outside spread is the rule of thumb, but that is the minimum. The goal is to take mature bucks. It is understood that from time to time a button head may be mistaken for a doe. The resolution committee will take this into consideration, but it must not become a common occurrence with the same member.
1st violation is a warning and 1 year probation. If a 2nd violation occurs during the probationary period there will be a $250 fine. If there is a 2nd violation after the probationary period there will be a $200 fine. 3rd violation will be dismissal from the club.
The only exception to the size rule is a person's first kill. If a member has never killed a deer, they can shoot anything they want for their first kill.
